Carrie Scott-Huby has established her Art Practice since graduating in 1992 from Bretton Hall College of the University of Leeds. In 2001 the was made to become self employed. In 2006 Carrie re-established the business as ‘pinkmoon’, thus to give more scope to develop business ventures.
Watercolour paintings are the main body of work, more recently the re-emergence of oil painting and the development of Limited Edition Prints. Each work produced has a mixed media bias. A wealth of skill application and manipulation of materials is applied to achieve innovative art works.
Themes of work are produced naturally in series, such as landscape, flora and architecture are produced in a unique semi-abstract style. Each piece encompasses a rich textural, rhythmical language. Carrie responds intuitively to the world around her, translating her sensitivities into unique, bespoke art works.
Carrie is an innovative artist who utilises her creativity in Business Development. She has worked closely with Professional Organisations to develop mutually beneficial and inspiring outcomes.
Carrie has exhibited and sold work Regionally, Nationally and Internationally.
