They’re a content marketing agency based in Reading, who specialise in B2B technology. They create content for large international companies and have been inundated with new clients lately, so they’re looking for a middleweight copywriter to join the team.
You should have at least two years’ experience and be able to pick up new subject matters quickly. You won’t need to be an expert in anything, but you will need to be a quick learner and be keen to stay up to date with fast-moving trends.
Your portfolio should show that you can produce excellent copy across a range of different mediums. You could be writing a PowerPoint presentation one day and helping research and write a whitepaper the next.
Quality control is also very important, as you’ll be checking your own work as well as your colleagues’ work for accuracy, grammar, spelling and sense. You should be able to spot a typo or double-space a mile away!
Once you’ve learnt the ropes, you’ll be talking directly with clients—to take briefs, provide updates and go through feedback—so you’ll need to have a professional manner and good communication skills.
The salary for this role is up to £32,000 based on experience, plus an annual bonus, 25 days’ holiday (which increases every year) and other perks such as reward systems.
